JCHSS #1

M and I took our horses to the Johnston County show on Saturday, but Lilly was SO bad that I still don't feel like blogging about it... she had me on the verge of tears by the end of the day. So frustrating.

"Herd bound" doesn't even begin to cover it.

I look innocent, but I'm a brat!

  1. I've been there. I know that feeling. Lots of changes for her in the last year. Things will get better. Hang in there.

  2. First outing - likely to happen - don't worry too much about it (I know it can be frustrating).

  7. So sorry to hear the show was no fun. Been there, done that. Hate it when it happens.

How could anything so beautiful be so naughty?

Sorry to hear it went badly... Everyone has those shows. Chin up! She's had a Loong time off.

  9. Oh my that was so me last week, minus the show situation. Sorry it didn't go well. Lilly is certainly a pretty pony, nevertheless.

  11. LILLY!!! I'm sorry you had a terrible show. I know things will get better, she just hasn't been in showing mode for a while, don't give up! She looks gorgeous in the picture, by the way!

  12. Arg! Bad Lilly!!! I'm guessing that stall rest (she says prison) did a number on her little brain. So sorry. You've handled everything else, you'll get through this too.

  14. Thats how my old show horse is. When we first started showing him we just brought him so he was fine, no issues what so ever. But when we started bring my friends mare along, then came the calling, rearing to get by her etc etc.

I hope with more work that she learns better. [:

  15. I appreciate all the kind and understanding words... I know many of you have been right where I was on Saturday, so it helps knowing Lilly isn't the only brat out there!

I'm going to finish a post about what happened, and hopefully I'll have it done tonight.
